The historic benchmark for online mentoring, founded in 2005, focused on character animation: body mechanics then acting, with no 3D generalism.
The 3D Character Animation Program is made up of six consecutive twelve-week courses, roughly 72 weeks or eighteen months. A 3D Game Animation Program runs alongside, plus standalone courses in 2D animation, 3D modelling, storyboarding and concept art. Shorter entry points exist through Maya Animation over six weeks or Animation Basics over twelve.
The stated ratio is nine students per mentor, with mentors working at Pixar, Disney, Blizzard, DreamWorks, Riot Games and ILM. Every assignment feeds directly into the demo reel.
No academic accreditation is mentioned: this is non-qualifying professional training.
