The only online school on this list accredited by ACCSC, a body recognised by the US Department of Education. That is what formally distinguishes it from Animation Mentor, and it matters for equivalence or a visa.
Two programmes: the 3D Animation Program and the 3D Character Program, the latter covering modelling, rigging and studio production workflows. That dual path lets you aim at technical roles as well as animation, which widens your options.
Each programme consists of seven eleven-week courses, roughly 21 months at standard pace, or 30 months on the spread-out plan with three built-in breaks. You can also enrol in individual classes rather than the full programme.
Classes are live, taught by working professionals, with personalised weekly critiques. Every assignment builds a section of the demo reel, and the timetable is designed for students working alongside. No prior experience is required.
$1,620 per eleven-week term, roughly $11,935 for the full programme, plus a non-refundable $125 enrolment fee. Also budget for a ZBrush licence of around $500 and $150 to $400 in books.
