Cg5 Academy
Animation school
South Korea
Address:
South Korea
CG5 Academy is not a qualifying institution but an intensive placement-focused academy on the Korean model: short courses by role, 3D Modeling, 3D Animation, 3D Lighting, Nuke Compositing, Concept Art, FX Houdini, each with an AI component built in. Core programmes run around a month.
The academy communicates heavily on employment: over 780 cumulative graduates placed as of 2026, a claimed first place for employment rate among Korean CG providers, 93 Rookie Awards finalists, and instructors who worked on KPop Demon Hunters. Those figures are self-declared and cannot be verified through a third party.
Teaching is in Korean. No academic accreditation, and fees are quoted after a consultation. The format corresponds to targeted upskilling for the Korean market rather than an initial training path.
