What sets e-artsup apart from many schools is that it keeps a genuine 2D track all the way to master level. There is a Film Animation 3D master and a Film Animation 2D master, kept separate. Few French schools still make that effort.
The path: a three-year Animation Cinema 2D/3D bachelor, then two master years. Concept Art and Motion Design masters sit alongside. Admission is on application and portfolio, with no entrance exam.
The Nantes campus covers 1,500 m² and is recent. The local argument is real: Nantes has a dense creative ecosystem, plenty of festivals, and a cost of living below Paris, which matters across a five-year budget.
Regional campus rates: €7,590 in year one, €8,390 in years two and three, €8,790 in years four and five, plus €690 in registration fees. Years four and five can be done on an apprenticeship contract, in which case the employer covers tuition. That is the network's most interesting financial lever and worth studying closely.
