IIM's main selling point is work-study. The third bachelor year and most of the masters can be done under an apprenticeship contract, which is rare in French 3D animation and radically changes the real cost of studying.

A three-year Animation 3D bachelor, then a choice of two masters: Directing and 3D Animation, or 3D Production Management. That second one is a real distinguishing feature: it targets production roles, coordinator and line producer, not the artist. Few schools train explicitly for those jobs even though studios are looking for them.

The pipeline taught runs end to end: modelling, rigging, skinning, animation, texturing, VFX, compositing, lighting, using Maya, Unreal Engine, Houdini and Nuke. RNCP level 6 for the bachelor, level 7 for the masters. RECA member.

The campus sits in La Défense, in a district mixing business, engineering and digital: this is not an isolated art school, and you feel it in the institutional culture. Three campuses in total with Nantes and Montpellier. Fees are not published.
