Isart Digital Montreal

Isart Digital Montreal

Animation school

Canada

Address:

1440 Rue Sainte-Catherine #1000, Montréal, QC, Canada

The qualification awarded is a Quebec AEC. Where equivalences allow, ISART Montreal also awards French qualifications, with the 3D Film Artist specialisation able to lead to an RNCP level 7 title.

The 3D Film Artist specialisation runs two years at 600 course hours a year plus a placement. It requires the 3D Artist for Film and Games AEC as a prerequisite, so it is not an entry-level programme.

The second year centres on producing a complete 3D short film under professional conditions: directing, layout, advanced rendering, VFX. Admission tests are free and combine an interview, a portfolio and written tests.

Teaching is in French, except the Technical Designer programme which is in English. AECs recognised by Quebec's Ministry of Education, RECA member through ISART Digital. Fees are not published.

The Quebec press reported in February 2026 that the school was affected by the province's foreign student quotas.
