L'IDEM runs the IDEM International Animation Summit each year, bringing together studios such as Epic Games, Skydance Animation and Ghost VFX, with networking and job opportunities. The school also arranges accredited attendance at the Annecy festival every year.
The 2D-3D Animation course runs three to four years depending on your background, with four specialisations from year two: Preproduction, 2D Animation, 3D Generalist, 3D Animation. Official academic partnerships with Unreal Engine and SideFX. In 2D: Photoshop, Toon Boom Harmony, Animate, Blender, After Effects. In 3D: Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal Engine, Substance, Marvelous Designer.
Three campuses, Perpignan, Barcelona and Madrid, which opens a Spanish dimension that is rare in the French landscape.
RECA member, RNCP level 6 "Designer d'images animées et immersives" title.
School-published figures for 2025: a 100 % certification pass rate and 50 % of graduates in work or on a work-study contract.
