France
Address:
7 Rue Armand Moisant, 75015 Paris, France
LISAA offers a distinct 2D bachelor, 3D bachelor and mixed 2D/3D bachelor, a granularity few schools provide.
The bachelors run three years, or two after a preparatory year, with entry possible into year one, two or three. A Master in Production Management and Digital Animation Techniques extends the path. The 3D Animation bachelor is offered in Paris and Toulouse.
The curriculum covers environment, prop and character modelling, 3D animation, compositing and post-production, plus storyboard, character design, background design, directing and visual development.
LISAA is a generalist applied arts school, also covering graphic design, fashion and interior architecture, and therefore less focused on animation than Gobelins, ESMA or The Animation School.
"Animation et effets spéciaux numériques" level 6 certification registered with the RNCP, RECA member. Admission with the baccalauréat.
The exact fee for the Paris 3D Animation bachelor is not published separately, the available figures relating to other courses. Regional campuses sit between €6,450 and €9,300.
