MJM Graphic Design Rennes
Animation school
France
Address:
29 Rue de la Palestine, 35000 Rennes, France
MJM's Réalisation 3D bachelor is a national programme run identically across ten French campuses, plus a fully remote version. The content covers 3D animation, modelling, character design, scriptwriting, virtual environments, rendering, compositing and sound design.
Three years, admission at baccalauréat level with an application, written tests and an interview, and direct entry possible into year two or three on the strength of your work. Work-study opens from year two, and under an apprenticeship contract tuition is free for the student. That is the most interesting part of the setup.
RNCP level 6 title.
What to bear in mind: MJM is a generalist applied arts school. 3D animation sits alongside photography, interior design, fashion and web design. It is not a specialised animation school, with everything that implies for peer momentum.
€7,320 a year full time, free under an apprenticeship contract.
