Animation school

Canada

Address:

1501 Rue de Bleury, Montreal, QC, Canada

The bachelor in 3D creation for film is a university degree awarded by UQAC rather than a school title, which opens the way to a master's and a doctorate.

Ninety credits across three years in Montreal. Alongside it, a certificate in 3D animation and digital design, game-oriented bachelors, and short graduate programmes in visual effects simulation and creature development.

Admission is autumn only, with a 1 March deadline and a cap of 96 places. The portfolio counts for at least 60 % of the assessment, alongside a motivation letter. Four admission routes exist depending on your background.

Thirty-four years of operation, around 2,500 graduates, project-based teaching supervised by industry specialists, and a location in the heart of Montreal, one of the world's largest animation and VFX hubs.

Tuition follows the Quebec university scale and varies with residency status. It is not published on the pages consulted.
