Parallel 14
Animation school
France
Address:
97232 Zone de Gros la Jambette, Le Lamentin, Martinique
Parallel 14 was born from a fantastic initiative aimed at providing training in 3D animation and visual effects in Martinique and Guadeloupe, as well as across the Caribbean more broadly.
Training in 3D animation without leaving the French Caribbean: that is Parallel 14's real distinguishing feature. It presents itself as the Caribbean's first private school for 3D animation, VFX and games, with three locations across Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana.
The 3D and Digital Art bachelor is presented as a four-year post-secondary path including a preparatory year, with a competitive entrance exam. Alongside it sit five certified continuing-education programmes and short modules in digital work and post-production: the retraining component is strong, which matches a real need in these territories.
A registered training organisation, Qualiopi certified, plus DiGiTT and TOSA certifications. However, no RNCP qualification of its own is documented, and that is the point to clarify before enrolling.
The school reports 90 % satisfaction in continuing education and 50 % of learners in work within six to twelve months. Those figures are self-declared and not independently audited. Fees are not published.
