SF Film School Vancouver

Animation school

Canada

Address:

1082 Seymour St, Vancouver, BC, Canada

SF Film School is a Korean institution headquartered in Seoul, with sites in Busan and Daegu. Vancouver is presented as a portfolio lab rather than a campus awarding a qualification.

No qualifying programme specific to the Vancouver site is documented. The school teaches VFX, 3D animation, game design, FX dynamics, motion graphics, character design, environment design and compositing, but how that splits across sites is not public.

Teaching is mainly in Korean, with English content available for international students. Admission runs through a phone or email consultation, then an orientation interview, with classes of 8 to 12 students.

The school claims more than 142 graduates employed in Hollywood studios, one-to-one mentoring, 24-hour workstation access, a green screen studio, motion capture and an on-site screening room.

No Canadian accreditation is documented, and fees are only quoted after an individual consultation.
