The Licenciatura en Arte Digital is an eight-semester digital art degree. Animation is one of its four specialisation tracks, alongside visual development, game development and visual effects.
The training is less specialised than at an animation school, and draws on the alumni network of one of Latin America's leading universities, with a customisable teaching model and the option to continue into a Maestría en Arte Digital y Nuevos Medios.
Teaching is in Spanish, with a B2 English level required to graduate. The expected profile includes grounding in science, mathematics and statistics alongside the ability to convey ideas through images.
The degree is offered on several Mexican campuses, including Monterrey. Official Mexican university degree. Fees are not published.
