Think Tank Training Centre
Animation school
Canada
Address:
107 Esplanade West, North Vancouver, BC, Canada
The online course is at the same level as the on-campus one, at a third of the price: CA$50,750 for domestic students on campus, against CA$19,750 online.
All courses run 64 weeks, roughly fifteen months: 3D Animation, Visual Effects & Game Art on campus, CG Asset Creation and Houdini for Film or Games online, plus two hybrid formats letting you start remotely and finish on site.
Houdini is a full track rather than a module, geared toward simulation and FX.
No prior experience is required for any of the programmes, and the format is short and intensive, geared toward immediate employability rather than an academic qualification.
The school is approved by the provincial regulator, EQA certified and PTIB accredited. It is ranked 6th worldwide in Best 3D Animation Schools 2025 and 6th in Best Visual Effects Schools 2025 at the Rookies, rankings verified at source.
The "number one in Canada" and "number one in North America" claims on the site are self-declared, with no year or source.
