Animation school
France
Address:
233 Rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France
An unapologetically technical position: this is a visual effects and pipeline school, not a directing or storytelling school. The school's own formula sums up the logic: the studios decide what needs teaching, and every instructor is a working practitioner.
The digital visual effects designer-technician course runs three years and covers modelling, sculpting, texturing, lighting, compositing, rigging, animation, motion capture, real-time 3D and pipeline management. A short, intensive eight-month 3D animation course sits alongside it. Houdini certified school since 2024.
Admission is deliberately open: baccalauréat or higher education, no preparatory year required, no prior 3D experience needed. A roughly one-hour interview, portfolio welcome but not compulsory. The school sits outside Parcoursup.
Cohorts are small for individual follow-up, and graduates are placed at MPC, The Mill and Illumination Mac Guff. RECA member, RNCP level 6 title, The Rookies rankings in Production Excellence VFX for 2023 and 2024.
€8,750 a year for 2025-2026, plus a €450 deposit on enrolment.
